A two days training workshop on "Tobacco cessation needs and techniques" has been organised on 16 th and 17th May 2024 by the department of Preventive Oncology,Dr.B.Borooah Cancer Institute in collaboration with State Tobacco Control Cell Assam and National Tobacco testing laboratory.Counselors and clinical psychologists from National Tobacco quitline Services for North East, West Bengal and Orissa along with other counsellors from different parts of Assam participated in the program.
